Business License Specialist

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Responsible for all new and existing store license/permit procurement and renewals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate with Store Operations for all stores compliance in accordance to government agencies licenses and permits requirements.

Responsible for the research, application and processing of all licenses and permits for all new store locations using License HQ software.

Responsible for contacting various cities, county and state government agencies for applications, payment requests, coordinating with real estate, construction departments, and stores for information, and license delivery.

Responsible for preparation of new store licenses and permits documents.

Responsible for all logistics for opening new stores in timely manner.  

Responsible for license and permit renewals for all locations using License HQ software. This includes determining license payment, payment requests, and license delivery to stores or G&A department.

Research and problem solving in the related areas.

Responsible for communication to appropriate departments within the company.

Responsible for occupancy business tax filing.

Assist in preparing budgets for accounts as deemed appropriate. Assist in Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance. 

Special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong organizational skills. Good oral and communication skills. Strong follow through. Deadline oriented. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Detail oriented, with a strong emphasis on accuracy. AA degree desired. Ability to work independently or as a team member on projects of all sizes. Ability to cope with pressure and changing priorities
