Business Risk Specialist Senior – Pittsburgh, PA
1 year (contract)
Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm

Day to day responsibilities for this role:



Participates in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations. Leads in the design and development of specific risk management program components


Executes the risk management programs within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews). May lead cross functional teams


Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit)


Leads or influences risk initiatives and business as usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution. Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate


Policy and Procedure Requirements:


Administer documents in Policy and Procedure Manager system


Perform QA on procedure prior to publishing to ensure ERM format and RCSA are documented within the procedure


Responds to ERM challenges


Report late procedures to COE


Process Management:


Consultation on new and modified process to ensure controls are properly identified and executed


Risk Control Self-Assessment:


Administer RCSA Template Updates


Consult with COE on control design/process


Convert RCSA template to upgraded design (i.e. Archer)


Risk Control Impact Analysis:


Administer/consult on the RCIA evaluation, risk coordinator/risk specialist validate control and process modification/retain evidence on RCQM SharePoint site


Coordinate the 2LOB challenge and response with RC


Issue Management:


Perform Archer issue management workflow activities (Draft through remediation)


Prepare and coordinate Issue Management reporting for HR Risk Committee; Administer PPM process (See Procedures)


Third Party:


Perform Risk Steward function for all PNC suppliers on behalf of HR risk assessments


Perform QA testing HR risk assessments


Compliance:


Administrator RCSA and RCIA updates


Support business segments on changes; consult on risk events/controls


Maintain obligations inventory



MUST HAVE


Bachelor's or equivalent experience background and 5-7 years experience in the specific field

Control design experience required
Risk process analysis experience required
Testing controls experience required
