Position: Senior Business Transformation Analyst or Consultant
Pay rate: depends upon experience
Length: 3 months W2 contract
Location: Greenville SC

Position Summary:

The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating transformation workstreams and more generally for supporting transformation teams on initiatives across Global Operations that incorporate proactive and innovative solutions to address business challenges and support GTO’s vision of driving savings, leveraging scale and offering a differentiated customer experience. In partnership with internal and external Global Operations resources and SMEs, and under general supervision, the Sr. Business Architect Consultant will manage and participate in transformation workstream teams deployed on initiatives tied to Global Operations strategic priorities.

The Sr. Business Analyst will support all aspects of transformations projects. Job duties include but are not limited to: conducting operations assessments, engaging in change management activities, conducting operational training, designing solutions, and supporting testing effort, as well as gathering and analyzing data, identifying root cause for production defects, and providing operational support during application rollout.

Summary of Position Responsibilities:

Contributes to the identification of critical business issues, and to the establishment of transformation plans and teams.
Under general supervision, manages and supports transformation workstreams, including solicitation of requirements, identification of key areas of process and application improvement, and testing responsibilities
Actively participates in and take ownership of deliverables related to the operational readiness, training, and production support of application rollout activities
Develops relationships with implementation and service organization to support transition onto key strategic applications
Works independently to conduct analysis around system errors and inconsistencies to determine root cause and identify and implement resolutions
Supporting the mitigation of significant operational risks/issues on transformation initiatives to ensure expected results are achieved
Actively participates in the development and deployment of Process Excellence practices, tools and frameworks; enforces Process Excellence standards within the transformation programs and projects
Partners with internal and external consultants and vendors
Performs other duties as assigned

Required skills:

Bachelor’s degree required
4-6 years professional experience, preferably within insurance, financial services or management consulting industries
5+ years of experience conducting operations assessments, identifying transformation opportunities, designing solutions, creating transformation roadmaps, implementing target operating models, managing change, as well as gathering and analyzing data, developing models, supporting the monitoring and reporting of progress on projects, managing project risks and issues and tracking project deliverables and results
5+ years of experience with business management tools including: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Access and SharePoint
2+ years of experience with global CRM platform Salesforce

Preferred skills:

PMP and/or Prince2 certification, with experience in knowledge management practices
Black Belt certification
4+ years of product knowledge and expertise across insurance value chain
Global Experience

Required Travel: 5-15%
