Title: Buyer/Planner
Location: Austin, TX
Contract Length: Minimum of 5 months; max of 18 months
Hours: 8-hour work day, typically 8-5, can work 40-55 hours / week, may have calls in the evenings (overseas, etc.)
PTO / Holiday: Accrue 2 hours of PTO for every week worked, can accrue up to 80 hours / year max, when year starts over can earn another 40, 6 paid holidays
Dress: Business Casual (Jeans / Polo)
Pay Rate: 22.00 – 30.00 / HR (will actually be paid as salary)


Purchase materials, components, equipment and services as well as ensuring the timely performance of our suppliers to meet the needs of our client’s internal customers
Negotiate contracts for the purpose of major materials, components, equipment and services
Maintain consistent, on-time materials flow to meet production schedules and/or customer requirements while minimizing inventory investment
Plan activities involving production control, inventory control, process control, or shop floor control / material resource planning (MRP) integrity
This project involves transitioning from Oracle to SAP


BS level degree or equivalent in business, purchasing, materials, supply chain management, distribution or related discipline
Associates degree with 1-2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

APIC certification
Oracle or SAP
Master Scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
