Buyer Planner

You landing a new job in Rancho Cordova, CA would be pretty good, BUT you landing a new Buyer/Planner job with US would be simply AWESOME!  It can happen, because we’re looking for long-term Buyer/Planner to join the amazing team at our client site.

Here’s a preview of what you’ll be working on as a Buyer/Planner:

  • Working in an office environment, you’ll be making the magic happen by purchasing material required for builds
  • Drawing up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
  • Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records
  • Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers
  • Prepares purchase orders to obtain materials, tools and equipment
  • Production Control (Planning) of same material required for VE build
  • Running various reports and distributing them to the planners and buyers
  • Assisting in printing and analyzing the price percent change report
  • Attend various meetings and update reports with the meeting’s relevant information
  • Execute temporary and permanent engineering change orders
  • Constant contact with outside vendors and internal supervisors and program managers in order to facilitate production build
  • Analyze cycle count discrepancies to discover the root cause of errors performed and recommend suggestions to prevent future errors

  • Above all, you’ve got to be reliable. If you’re ready to go at the start of each shift, you’re A-OK in our book!
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 – 10 years of directly related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CPIM or Supplier Management and Quality Certificate preferred
  • Full understanding of industry practices
  • Experience in Government FAR Clauses
  • Experience in Small Business Reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

This position has a starting pay rates of $25.00/hr., this is a great opportunity to earn some fast, and serious cash!  This opportunity is available on 1st Shift.
