SUMMARY:
POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinate activities essential to the maintenance of Ventana instrumentation, specifically related to calibration of measuring and test equipment. Follow regulatory requirements and develop comply with applicable quality procedures. Administer various activities and escalate issues as required. Respond to audit findings and demonstrate continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Returned Goods Coordination:
a) Complete inventory transactions.
b) Conduct initial assessment and routing.
c) Coordinate complaint investigation and evaluation.

- Calibration Coordination, including coordinating on-site and external calibrations processes to meet audit and regulatory requirements

- Maintain calibration database.

- Notify equipment users.

- Respond to out of tolerance conditions.

- Maintain quality records.

- Generate reports.

- Prevent the use of out of calibration equipment.

- Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time.

SKILLS:
Experience:
Minimum 6 months in quality assurance and or instrument calibration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.

- Must be able to manage details and multiple demands.

- Able to track and report product and process characteristics.

- Ability to analyze data, trending, etc.

- Proficient in use and application of computer software including, Excel, Access, MS Outlook, etc.

MUST HAVES:
1) Good Organization Skills, 2) Strong Communication Skills, 3) Team Oriented, 4) Excellent Computer Skills, 5) Ability to Multi-task

STRONGLY DESIRED:
1) Ability to track and trend data, 2) Ability to analyze data

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED. Associates degree in applicable technical field preferred.
