Adecco has a brand-new client in Vancouver!  We are looking for strong Customer Service Reps to work at this multilingual solutions platform company!  

 

SUMMARY

Answering calls and coordinating job requests for customers and providing telephone customer support services by performing the following duties:

  • Take incoming calls from providers (customers) needing interpreters for appointments – high volume up to 250 calls/day.
  • Answer multi-line phone system.
  • Data entry of job request information into company database.
  • Responsible for coordinating (finding available interpreters) to fill assignment and provide interpreter with all needed information (job number, location, client, etc.)
  • Education and/or Experience:                                                   
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; or six months related experience and/or training.
  • Language Skills:                                                
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

 

  • Mathematical Skills:                                                      
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability:                                             
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills:                                                
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Must have at least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume call center.

Pay: $12-12.50/hour

Must consent to a background and drug screen

Clerical testing and MS Outlook testing are required

Hours: Day & Swing available – MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK AT LEAST ONE WEEKEND DAY

Temp-to-hire after 90 days – full medical, dental, vision offered!
