Call Center/ Help Desk

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill Call Center/ Help Desk Rep in Rochester, NY! The pay rate is $13.50/hr.
This role is in a call center environment interacting with users via phone and messaging to provide information, provide customer support, and assist with computer/software issues. The CSR will answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with computer-related issues, as well as Course Management Software.
The CSR will walk users through issues step by step. This role requires critical thinking skills – the CSR will be responsible for identifying problems, researching, and problem resolution. The CSR will also need to recognize when issues need to be escalated.
Help Desk Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the queue
Respond to customer queries by phone and email
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software and hardware
Document internal procedures and actions taken with users
Ask educated questions and listen to customers to determine the actual cause of issues
Work through the problem-solving process with customers
Report significant and recurring issues to the tier-2 support team

Requirements include:

Critical Thinking Skills
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications
Previous Call Center experience preferred
