Adecco Group is assisting a global financial services corporation in their search for Capital Markets Data Analyst-Oracle Savvy in Greenville SC


Length: 12 months W2 contract possible extension but no conversion
Schedule: Mon – Fri; 7.5/day, 37.5/week (9-5)
Start: ASAP runs through 1/6/2020
Location: Greenville SC


Position Summary:
This is a US-based project; technology team in NY and a technology in Toronto; Data Steward leading a lot of this work; a lot of interaction daily with NY Team, Immediate Team and Management.

This project is surrounding data foundation and existing logic within the client’s platform (Java-Based). Successful candidate would be assessing existing logic that transforms data (currently done upstream from the client group); and will have to re-build that logic inside of the platform.

The Data Analyst will be retrieving existing logic that exists elsewhere, analyzing any gaps in the system that the team is going to leverage – bundle up these issues/gaps and discuss during operations meetings with the give committee – during those meetings and outlining gaps, will assist in developing requirements to hand over to technology partners to do database development.

Long-term project spanning the next couple of years; working on cutting edge projects surrounding Treasury and Balance Sheet Management having the ability to mold business processes, working with the operations committee to provide recommendations for platform transformation.


Summary of Position Responsibilities:

Treasury & Balance Sheet Management Team – Working with the client’s Ready Data Steward and another Data Analyst to:

Analyze data element mapping against other stakeholder requirements
Analyze data element regression testing and impact to client’s SM.
Assist in preparation of data requirements packages
Analyze logic in upstream data feeds and turn into business requirements for technology team to replicate in client’s SM data services
Analyze logic and transformations in client’s SM's Vision staging and reporting tables and turn into business requirements for technology team to replicate in client’s SM data services

Required skills:

Working Data analysis experience with Oracle Data Warehouse for data purposes – 2+ years
Working with BAs to analyze data mapping based on stakeholder requirements – 4+ years
Data Analysis within Capital Markets looking at loans/deposits/cash flows/etc. – 1+ years
Treasury Balance Sheet Management Line of Business experience
Assessing data gaps, creating data requirements packages – 4+ years
Analyzing logic in upstream data feeds/reporting tables and turning into business requirements for technical resources to address – 4+ years
Attending operations meetings, providing recommendations based on analysis/reports – 4+ years
Excellent Communication Skills
Problem solver who has worked alongside stakeholders to determine data gaps to remediate and apply.

Preferred skills:

Previous Bank experience
Treasury/Balance Sheet Management LOB experience
