LOCATION: Houston, TX (Zip 77077)
HOURS: 8am-5pm CST / 9am-6pm CST
DURATION: 12 Months - temp to perm
PAY: $16/hr
START DATE: ASAP

Responsibilities:
The Coordinator, Individualized Care provides a high touch patient support approach with every contact as an active liaison between the patient, the prescriber, and the pharmacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations. This position also provides accurate and timely follow-through on all call tasks and commitments to ensure that the following occur: communications are clear, proper action is taken, and all internal processes are followed according to the company policies and program specific work instructions as outlined.
• Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
• Responsible for handling inbound calls, with ability to determine needs and provide one call resolution
• Ability to create and complete accurate referrals and applications and keep updated on policy or procedural changes.
• Be knowledgeable in insurance billing methods and general pharmacy operations.
• Demonstrate superior customer support talents
• Prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and work with a sense of urgency
• Must communicate clearly and effectively in both a written and verbal format

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training desired or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
• Experience should include knowledge of practices and procedures commonly used in a call center or customer service environment.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercially insured payer common practices and policies is preferred
• Knowledge of the Health Insurance Market Place and the Affordable Care Act preferred
• Critical and creative thinking is a must
• Important to have a strong attention to detail
