Cash Application Analyst

Adecco is assisting a global leader in medical imaging hire a Cash Application Analyst based in St. Louis, MO.  This company is the only pharmaceutical group dedicated to medical imaging worldwide, with a presence in almost 80 countries via a network of subsidiaries and distributors.

The qualified candidate is responsible for timely collections, cash application, chargeback and deduction processing on assigned portfolios. Support and participate in proper process compliance.

Essential functions:
? Analyze and process domestic and LATAM cash posting to ensure accurate coding of incoming receipts. Activities include        processing adjustments, daily reconciliation, timely escalation/resolution of customer discrepancies, and AR research requests.
? Reconcile payments and general ledger accounts daily to ensure accuracy.
? Assist with internal and external auditor requests to derive/support controls and confirm accounts receivable activity.
? Perform month end closing activities including report generation, intercompany journal entries, and GL account reconciliations.
? Assist with other collaborative functions in AR/Credit for progressive teamwork & the accomplishment of department/company goals.
? Strong relationship with NAM/LATAM external customers / Finance team / Customer Service team.

Required Skills and background:
? Minimum 3 years of Accounting/AR/Cash application experience.
? Knowledge and understanding of vendor/distributor/customer relationships.
? Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with aptitude for reconciliations.
? Strong problem solving skills.
? Goal oriented, motivated self-starter, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

? Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or applicable experience preferred.
