Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Adecco Direct Placement is recruiting on behalf of our client, a Senior Services provider in South Carolina for the position of Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Qualified candidates for this opportunity must have a Medical Assistant Certification, and ability to travel to multiple facilities within an assigned territory, 1+ years of experience. Primary Role
Provide quality health care to residents in accordance with the resident’s comprehensive plan of care and as directed by the physician. The Certified Medical Assistant is educated and trained to perform both administrative and clinical skills in the medical care environment.
Areas of Responsibilities

Obtain and record the following: vital signs, HPI, past medical history
Perform PT/INR
Perform blood draws and spin blood
Assist with ambulation/transfers
Use of proper adaptive equipment
Cooperate with facility coordination of staff and resident tuberculin skin testing

Required Skills

Phlebotomy and lab skills
Dressing changes
Appointment Scheduling
General Knowledge of medical terminology
