Certified Pharmacy Technician

A Certified Pharmacy Technician job in Cary, NC is available courtesy of Adecco Medical & Science. You must have a valid CPhT certification and a minimum of 2+ years' experience to be considered for the position. You will be responsible for performing intake, set-up, quality assurance and customer service activities and functions in accordance with company policies and procedures to assist in the flow of dispensing drugs to the patient. This is a contract role until at least 7/29/2019 with the possibility of extension. The hours are 11:00AM - 8:00PM [Lunch: 3:00:PM-4:00:PM].

The Certified Pharmacy Technician job responsibilities include:

Review contents of referral to ensure complete and accurate information has been received
Conduct initial check of prescription to ensure clinical accuracy for processing
Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarification, missing information or patient concerns so that all information is collected and accurate before it reaches other teams for furthering processing
Direct incoming calls from patients and providers to the appropriate individuals to make sure referrals are processed in a timely manner


Minimum of a High School Diploma Required
Registered technician through the NC Board of Pharmacy or receive within one month of employment
Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification required
Minimum two+ years’ experience in a pharmacy setting
Basic computer skills
