Adecco Direct Placement team is looking for a Certified Welderto fill a Welding job with a nationally known company in Odessa, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, fabricating and rebuilding equipment and machines under the general supervision of the supervisory team. Responsibilities for the Certified Welder Job include:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, fabricate, rebuild, overhaul, service and inspect steel equipment and machinery
Follow written and verbal procedures pertaining to welding projects
Adhere to GMAW/ GRAW certification standards
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Read blue prints and mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbols in order to complete welding projects
Keep working area clean, organized and safe in order to maintain 5 +1 “S” standards
Maintain proper documentation with production and quality logs

Qualifications for the Certified Welder job include:

2+ years of experience as a GMAW/ GTAW certified welder
1+ years of experience in TIG and MIG welding
Previous experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and technical repairs
Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shifts
Ability to regularly lift and carry 75lbs and occasionally lift and carry up to 150lbs
Ability to talk and hear
Specific vision required in this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Proven tenure with previous employers along with positive working references
Ability to wear multiple hats within the company
Ability to use hands to fingers, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms
Ability to work long hours, be on call and potential weekends
Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background screen

Salary for this position will be determined upon experience but will be in the range of $20-24/hour which also includes a broad range of benefits such as health, dental, vision, 401K, paid holidays and paid time off.
