Position: Claims System and Process Analyst 

Pay Rate: $34.62 per hour

Length:  6 months W2 contract


Summary and Responsibilities


  • You will support the team that owns the Long Term Disability process. One of the responsibilities is to ensure the content of client's written communications are compliant with federal and state regulations, are in layperson terms and contain accurate information. There are new corporate standards that must be applied to client's entire suite of letters. Responsible for work on the letter project. Duties include:
  • Re-writing correspondence to conform to new corporate standards.This includes correct layout and proofing 
  • Must have ability to focus on details, business writing skills
  • Microsoft Word for composing the letters, possible Excel to report to manager
  • Outlook to communicate with supervisor and one another
  • Proofreading skills to approve final versions
  • Work with Senior Documentation Specialists for work assignment and sign off on completed work, and potentially other temporary workers.


Must Have:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years applicable experience in this field. Preferred experience with insurance claims systems and processes.
  • Product knowledge of Short-Term Disability, Family Medical Leave and/or Long-Term Disability.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written at all levels, especially written. 
  • Understanding office procedures/business acumen is essential
  • Detail oriented and analytical and problem solving skills
  • Computer Proficiency – MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook
