Job summary:




This position provides research and member eligibility support for our ability to meet client performance guarantees which would result in significant negative downstream ramifications for claims, intake and customer service if not filled. We manage the eligibility enrollment for Behavior Health, EAP and/or WorkLife benefits for over a million members. This team will handle individual members eligibility verification, and if needed, will assist the Electronic Systems Analyst team with eligibility load errors.


Specific Duties:
1. Manually update eligibility load exceptions/errors within department standards and metrics
2. Load new group and member data into the enrollment database
3. Responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies.
4. Collaborate with peers and members of the business unit they support to fulfill task at hand and/ or special projects

Must have qualifications/experience:
1. Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel, Type 45wpm, 3+ years Data Entry Skills,
2. Detailed Oriented, Team Player,
3. Able to Meet Deadlines, Able to Multitask
4. 3+ years experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties

5. Insurance Knowledge - 2+ years customer service experience within managed care, medical or insurance environment.

Shift Start/End Time: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm


How will the performance of the contractor be measured? We have department standards turnaround times established for task being completed. If a project assignment is given it will have a target due date that we expect the individual to meet. The individuals will be trained in all systems and applications being used, as well as the process involved, and work closely with another team member.

A quick description of the work environment: The individual will be sitting in their own cubicle in an office environment, working at a desktop using the company’s computer and applications/programs with other team members consisting of 12 individuals. The office is located in the heart of the financial district in SF, CA

Dress Code: Business Casual, no jeans (except on Fridays)
