Claims Support Specialist

We are currently hiring for a Claims Support Representative for one of our top clients in Parkersburg, WV! 

The Claim support Specialist is responsible for:
- Assisting the claim adjuster
- Answering all incoming claims phone calls.
- Data entry of the claim/problem processing claims
- Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information
- Researching, locating, and providing information.
- Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information
- Completing data entry transactions / forwarding the claim request.
- Providing quality, professional and prompt customer service
- Filing, copying/imaging, faxing, processing and data entry

The Support Specialist will also responds to inquiries from customers, including but not limited to, adjusters, Policyholders, Agents, independent adjusters and claimants as required. Handles all inquires with customer service as a priority. Assisting claims personnel with various activities such as verifying Policyholder information, completing paperwork, preparing file jackets and entering claims information into the claims management system. 

Qualifications are:

- Minimum of one year data entry experience in an office setting.
- Have basic computer skills and proficient with programs like Word and Outlook
- Must have the ability to multitask and be detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good clerical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- High School Diploma or GED
