Join Our Team! Adecco Transportation is seeking an Onsite Program Manager in Gardena, CA

The Client Program Manager is responsible for managing an on-site employee staffing program for a single client located in Gardena, CA. Provides general management to typically 70+ temporary Class B-C Delivery Drivers. Acts as the main liaison to clients to define and develop innovative solutions to meet hiring needs, address standard to moderately complex client requests and achieve strategic objectives.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must have open availability due to 24/7 Onsite operations.
  • Provides general management of temporary employee, including resolving employee relations issues. 
  • May supervise, train, mentor and coach additional onsite colleagues.
  • Partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs. 
  • Deploys, coaches, develops and redeploys temporary employees. 
  • Responds to and addresses candidate, temporary employee and/or client inquiries or escalations. 
  • Coaches, trains and mentors¿ onsite colleagues. 
  • Participates in Quality Performance Reviews (QPRs). 
  • Ensures compliance and safety requirements are met, including conducting injury investigations. 
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor¿s degree in business or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of recruiting experience is preferred. Equivalent combination of post-high school education and seven (7) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. 
  • Prior experience within the Transportation Industry a plus. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and DOT regulations.
