Key Responsibilities

Provide sales channel support for open territories
Leads sales support initiative for sales blitz, competitive market responses, marketing campaigns, OVE event sales and special initiatives
Provides decision on go/no go sales support activities
Create client lists in support of sales initiative
Provides new hire and onboarding training for Inside Sales new hires
Ability to develop, track and report on sales intake process and pipeline
Partner with sales to achieve or exceed sales goals and grow client base
Follow-up on clients to resolve concerns and develop a plan for client engagement
Work closely with the product team to include product changes in training materials
Collaborate with Sales Effectiveness and Sales Operations Learning partner to update and define new training requirements for Inside Sales.
Know your daily, weekly, monthly goals, lead to sale ratios and know your status in relation to them at all times
Communication sales support results to internal and external customers.
Make a minimum of 85 outbound calls per day
Provide the ultimate “Client Experience” with each and every transaction
Utilize CRM tools on a daily basis to monitor client product usage to ensure engagement and retention

Listening skills proven experience listening to customer feedback and adjusting to meet needs.
Experience & relationships selling to auto dealers
Experience in developing new business from prospects as well as existing customer base
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to a high volume of people throughout the workday, and the ability to apply his communication skills over the phone
Demonstrated ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment
Understanding of the automotive retail/wholesale marketplace in an operational context to best position the Manheim value proposition
Develop and strengthen relationships with dealers over the phone and online via email
Provide both technical assistance and product information to dealers
Collaborates with Cox Automotive to identify opportunities for growth
Advises dealers on value-added services based on their individual needs
Utilize Salesforce.com for reporting, lead input and customer performance reviews
Performs account management and support functions
Serves as a liaison between customers, sales teams, Manheim Digital Marketplace front office, and RMS marketing team to reconcile problems and to maintain a high level of customer service
Demonstrates professionalism and sincere appreciation for the business relationships that have been established amongst the dealers
Functions as a solid team player and work closely with teammates, field sales, and customer care to create a superior customer experience
Works with manager to ensure a consistent and effective high customer satisfaction and service level
Performs other duties as assigned by management

Education & Specialized Knowledge

High School, GED or Vocational School Diploma required


2 - 4 years’ Auction experience or 3 - 5 years dealership experience strongly preferred


Previous experience in sales desired


Ability to engage customers in a consultative manner and effectively recommend additional products and services


Adept computer skills, including ability to use Internet and MS Office effectively


Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment


Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required


Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time


Ability to perform repetitive tasks and have manual dexterity
