Adecco Medical and Science has an immediate need for a Medical Affairs Manager, Hematology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain professional relationships with scientific and medical leaders/groups, including but not limited to healthcare professionals, professional organizations, and patient advocacy groups.
Serve as the primary Medical Affairs contact, accurately and appropriately responding to any verbal, written, or electronic inquiries in a timely manner.
Act as a drug information resource and provide accurate and appropriate clinical information on company products and related disease states, by delivering presentations both regionally and nationally, and by participating in other forms of scientific exchange.
Remain up-to-date on Hematology as well as SCD management and emerging therapies by continuously reviewing literature and networking with experts.
Assist with clinical trials, product development, publication planning, and work cross-functionally between departments within the company.
Identify opportunities/unmet needs/gaps in medical knowledge and assist company in developing new therapeutic areas.
Perform other duties as assigned


Skills and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate clinical and scientific information in various settings
Capable of troubleshooting and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Able to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment without supervision
Ability to understand and effectively communicate and present relevant topics from scientific literature consistent with national direction from Medical Affairs and other company leadership
Must be highly articulate and self-confident during formal and informal presentations; able to convey complex, scientific ideas fluently to any audience
Highly motivated and intellectually curious
Willingness and ability to travel



Minimum requirements:


Doctorate in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Medicine (PharmD, PhD, MD) or equivalent required
5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience
2-3 years of experience in Sickle Cell Disease, in Hematology, or in relevant clinical therapeutic area desire.
