About the Department and Project: The Acute Care Solutions department researches meaningful and innovative solutions to help clinicians improve the care of acutely ill patients. We are expanding our efforts in healthcare research for real time diagnostic and therapeutic decision support applications. Our interests are in predictive modeling, simulation, and outcome management. Collaborative relationships are maintained with universities, scientific institutions, academic organizations and governmental resources. You will be tasked with translating innovative ideas into compelling business propositions and build new product-service combination business model concepts to drive the future of healthcare! Position Responsibilities: Work with the team to create business models for the Clinical Decision Support innovations coming out of the startup arm of Philips. Also collaborate to assess the market value, perform a trend analysis and map the competitor landscape. Work with team to translate strategic innovations into compelling business propositions taking into account e.g., technology readiness levels, consumer insights and market acceptance. We are looking for a highly talented and qualified Business Model Innovation Specialist with: BS degree in engineering or science, currently pursuing an MBA. Strong analytical skills (market and financial modeling) Knowledge of B2C as well as B2B high-tech industries Entrepreneur mindset Skills and experience in some of the following areas would be a plus: Familiarity with healthcare industry Experience creating clinical value propositions Software as Service Product Management experience with an excellent understanding of service / solutions / product combinations
