POSITION: CLO Portfolio Analyst 4
LOCATION: New York, NY
HOURS: Full-time
DURATION: Approximately 6-months, with potential to extend
PAY: $70 to 74/hr. - DOE

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details

Job Description:
It’s for a Middle Office Operations person to support CLOs. The person needs to have solid experience on loans as asset class and CLO support. The ideal candidate comes from a CLO Manager or Trustee.

Responsible for supporting the analysis, management and reporting of investment funds, analyzing the performance of each fund and preparing detailed investor reporting.

Review trustee reports in waterfall
Hand in hand with front office with ad hoc request
Detailed CLO work
Here we close 5 clo’s a year (3-5 per year)
1 – 1.5 years since worked on CLO is fine.
Any trustee CLO, working for CLO or CLO manager

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage financial models of existing products
• Build accurate financial models for external audiences
• Analyze the performance of each fund, and the portfolio overall, using detailed financial models
• Work closely with accounting teams to create reports
• Prepare performance presentations

Skills:
• Ability to build and manage financial models
• Experience in forecasting financial performance, developing metrics, and mining data
• Familiarity with financial terms and accounting principles

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field required
Strong Excel skills (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, data, filters)
Leverage Loan, Bond and Structured Product experience
Excellent communication skills
Basic Bloomberg knowledge
CLO expertise"
Performance calculation and presentation
2 to 3 + years CLO experience required at a top-tier investment manager, trustee, bank, service provider or administrator
