Job Duties:
Uses various tools provided in the work area to perform machining duties including but not limited to:
Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment and tooling.
Operate CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers according to standard work instructions.
Positioning of heavy fabricated metal components in machining fixtures using lifting devices. Position heavy fabricated metal components in machining fixtures utilizing overhead cranes.
Setup parts; Get fixture, jaws, and stops if needed, find work offsets X0, Y0, and Z0 for part.
Make/update CNC machine program changes.
Follows documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free operations to create and machine components.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to read, understand, and utilize G & M Code, blueprints and work schedules.
Able to utilize various inspection equipment, measuring instruments, and testing devices. including but not limited to the following; micrometer, caliper, refractometer, measurement gauges; thread gauges, and plug gauges.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to operate lifting devices.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay rate: $16.00 - $19.00
Hours: 2nd shift (2:00pm to 10:00pm)
And
3rd shift (10:00pm to 6:00am)
