Adecco Search is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Direct Hire 1st shift CNC Machinist Job in Kingston, NY for our client, a designer and builder of advanced tools and innovative systems in a diverse group of industries including Aerospace and Medical. CNC Machinists will work directly with rapid proto-typing of new products, rather than machining high quantity products, in a state-of-the-art facility with brand new machinery. CNC Machinists at this company will set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, tapping, deburring, etc. Our client offers an excellent pay rate between $20 and $29 per hour, based on skill set and experience, a comprehensive benefits plan, voluntary overtime, summer and Christmas plant shut down week and more. Our client also seeks candidates that would like to grow their career in Machining and learn new skills. Relocation assistance may be available for out of area candidates.

Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist Job in Kingston, NY include:
--Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, tapping, deburring, etc.
-- Read blueprints/mechanical drawings to understand specifications of the job order
--Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
--Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
--Inspect sample workpieces to verify conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators
--Input tool offsets and change tool in order to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.


Qualifications:
--Candidates should have at least one year of hands-on machining including set ups and programming. Vocational school graduates may be accepted as well
--Knowledge of cutting speeds feeds based on material and part geometry
--Select cutting tools and tooling instructions, according to written specifications or knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics
--G-code and M-code is required; Working knowledge of Mastercam is helpful
--Able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
--Dependable and willingness to grow and learn
