Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a CNC Maintenance Technician Job in Youngstown, OH for our client, a busy manufacturer of quality products. The CNC Maintenance Technician will guide all activities related to threading lathe maintenance repair, training and ensure this equipment overall uptime with an emphasis on CNC maintenance and electrical Okuma CNC lathe oilfield controls (LOC) specialization. Assist in the purchasing of tools and equipment.
Our client offers a starting pay rate of $24 per hour, salaried, and overtime and incentive pay. A comprehensive benefits plan is also offered.

Responsibilities for the CNC Maintenance Technician Job in Youngstown, OH include:
-Hands on repairs and rebuilds of overall machine, assemblies and sub-assemblies
-Execute equipment check, preventive and predictive maintenance activities as scheduled
-Basic troubleshooting/diagnostic editing of CNC controls: Okuma
-Participate in root cause analysis for any failures of threading lathe, assemblies, and sub-assemblies and propose reliable solutions for repairs
-Able to identify and mitigate risks related to machine components life span/inventory
-Implement plans, organize tasks with any 3rd party contractors and complete the work reports for the turning lathe PM's events, repair, overhauls
-Train/mentor other maintenance personnel of machine build, functionality and fitting of machine tool and CNC controls
-Capable to provide input to the development of technical specifications for threading lathe repairs and improvements
-Ability to recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions

Qualifications:
-Minimum High School Education is required
-Experience servicing CNC Machinery or handling equipment
-Lathe rebuilds, assessments and acceptance
-Knowledge of CNC controls: parameters, ladder monitoring, Okuma is required
-Ability to operate CNC lathe
-Basic program Okuma lathe
-Strong communication and organizational skills, decisive, detail oriented and self-starter
-Should possess strong verbal and analytical skills
-Lathe rebuild, assessments & acceptance
-CNC controls knowledge, ladder monitoring
-Lathe servicing
-Lean Manufacturing environment
