Essential Job Functions


Must be proficient in programming and setting up CNC machines in the Lathe department.
Working independently using blueprints, work instructions and being able to use and understand all measuring and gauging tools is essential.
Hands on support of production on the shop floor including but not limited to machine setup.
Interacting and mentoring shop floor personnel on a regular basis.
Must also adhere to all company safety rules while also developing new processes to conform to safety regulations.
Having a full understanding of all company procedures, processes and rules as stated in the company’s employee handbook.
Perform any other duties as directed by the Manufacturing Engineer Manager.



Required Skills


CNC Lathe Programmer with strong Programming skills.
3-D CAD/CAM proficiency.
5+ years of setting up and programming CNC machines.
Hands-on machine experience in machine setup including speeds and feeds.
Must have basic knowledge of tool design and work with cutting suppliers.
Able to manage projects through production.
Must have familiarity with aluminum, brass, ledloy, 300 series stainless steels including 316, 430F and 430FR.
Should be self-motivated with good analytical and trouble shooting skills.
Be able to work in a team environment.
