CNC Programmer first shift - aerospace programming is required

 Job Functions:

Create complex 5-axis CNC mill programs using Unigraphics NX (Version 7 or higher) - Design tooling and fixtures using CAD software to aid in the manufacturing process - Create set up sheets and tool lists to guide shop personnel through machine set up - Develop manufacturing plans through a preplanning team - Create programs to manufacture aerospace parts utilizing NC equipment in the machine shop environment considering such factors as: material properties, processing equipment, processing requirements, engineering tolerance, cost, quality and schedule - Verify the program with graphic based software and make corrections to the programs as necessary - Create supporting shop aid and set-up documentation - Release the program and supporting documents to the shop and coordinate manufacturing process, working to eliminate variability in the manufacturing process - Coordinate with the shop supervision and operators as required to develop the manufacturing process

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering - Minimum 5 years experience creating CNC programs (Minimum 2 years experience with Unigraphics NX Version 7 or higher) - Proficiency using verification software such as Vericut would be a plus - Strong knowledge of machine functions (G-codes, M-codes, work offsets, etc.) - Strong personal computer skills - Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of efficient work holding techniques - Strong communication skills - Proficient in problem solving and root cause analysis - Ability to read and interpret written instructions - Strong math skills including geometry, algebra and trigonometry - Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation - Precise, punctual and attentive to details - Thorough in completing full tasks - Able to identify visual defects Qualifications Skills Required Problem Solving Advanced Print Reading/Model Interpretation Intermediate Unigraphics Intermediate Microsoft Office Intermediate Preferred Vericut Some Knowledge Behaviors Preferred Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Motivations Preferred Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks

Education

Preferred Bachelors or better in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field.
