CNC Programmer

Adecco is working with a great client in Newington, NH that is looking for a CNC Programmer. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for using their expertise in programming, setting up, and machining to support daily production and prototypes. This position is on first shift and the pay and benefits are competitive.

The responsibilities for the CNC Programmer are:

Create CNC programs using GibbsCAM, MasterCAM and PartMaker
Ensure tools are set up properly and that production is running efficiently
Calculate correct part dimensions for tool selection, speed of the machines, and feed rates from blueprints
Set up and operate CNC equipment when needed
Make adjustments to machines and programs as needed to meet quality and quantity requirements
Collaborate with engineering to discuss modification of parts and processes as needed

The requirements for the CNC Programmer include:

HS diploma or equivalent
Associate Degree or related certification preferred
3-5 years of experience with CNC Programming and CNC operation
Experience with programming in GibbsCAM
Proficient in the use of precision measurement equipment like micrometers, calipers, fixtures and gauges to check work
Understanding of G and M code programming
Set up and troubleshoot CNC machines
Strong mathematical skills
Understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T
