Adecco is working with a local Custom Interior company to find an experienced CNC Supervisor. The CNC Supervisor oversees the departments as assigned during manufacturing activities and gives direction to associates to ensure the production of the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost. 

This is a full time 2nd shift position. Pay for this position starts at $18.00 hr depending on experience plus overtime as needed. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
System operations/ information Access
-Print /Review Dispatch reports
-Analyze Dispatch reports
-Check daily labor reporting in cell
-Requisition materials as required
-Complete Jobs
Transfer job receipt to inventory transactions 
Report accurate material levels
Perform cycle counts as needed
Enter department PTO
Meet with leads daily to obtain work load for 2nd shift and communicate back to leads at the end of the shift any issues or discrepancies with the expected work load.
Understanding of second shift departments of operation where assigned.
Use of table saw, nailers, routers, drills and other typical shop tools as needed. In addition, operation of CNC routers and banders.
Review production jobs and prioritize according to customer delivery requirements.
Ensure 6S, all departments maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Conduct 2nd shift Team Meetings Monthly
Check floor plans & shop drawings against shipping list for accuracy, and sign off as a QC check point.
Operate lift equipment to move materials for production as needed.
Ability to work with project managers on projects as required.
Coordinate with customer service to address and resolve customer related inquiries and problems.
Lead and/or participate on cross-functional or departmental teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs.
Review production schedules and ensure adequate levels of materials are available.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the organization's standards for quality, quantity, and safety, consistent with the organization's principles.
Ensure organizational compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory agencies. Promote affirmative action and equal employment opportunity.
Ensure the completion of all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations. Ensure the maintenance of departmental housekeeping standards.
Supervisors may be required to cross-train in departments that are not initially assigned to them to ensure competence in supervising all active departments on second shift.
Lock up and secure building at end of shift.

Requires two years of college or an associate degree with job related coursework and/or three to five years of related experience; or a high school diploma and/or equivalent and six to eight years of progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Ability to repair and trouble shoot minor mechanical problems.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization.

Requires the ability to obtain a forklift operator's certificate.
