Position: Collections Manager
Job Location: Tempe, AZ
Job Duration: 3 Months
Shift: Mon – Fri 11:30AM - 8:00 PM
Pay: 14.30 per hour

ASSIGNMENT RESPONSBILITIES
• Provide professional interactions with delinquent accountholders and negotiate acceptable payment arrangements to ensure our credit and store relationships are protected.
• Perform outbound and inbound collections interacting with delinquent guests and negotiating payment arrangements.
• Provide professional interactions with credit accountholders by treating them with respect and appreciation, displaying courtesy and friendliness, recognizing various accountholder segments and providing appropriate workable solutions.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills by probing or making suggestions for the handling of exceptional account situations (e.g., bankruptcy, Consumer Credit Counseling, deceased, legal, fraud, billing disputes, etc.).
• Clearly understand and abide by all credit policies and procedures, account payment terms, billing/collection systems and various state and federal laws, rules and regulations governing credit and collections.
• Recognize various accountholder segments and makes appropriate offers.
• Check new temp workers starts/returning temporary workers in upon arrival
• Train new temporary workers- assignment functions and timekeeping processes
• Coach work performance of temporary workers
• Act as the standard for temporary worker performance, “Be the example.”
• Facilitate instruction from Target Lead’s to temporary workers and onsite/branch staff
• Daily communication with onsite/branch regarding temporary worker absences or any other relevant updates
• Coach temporary workers as applicable, engaging the branch office when appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school Diploma or GED
• 4-year degree preferred, not required
• 2 years call center experience with a thorough understanding of how credit/credit cards/payments work
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal AND written.
• Interacts well with others at all levels - peers, supervisors, guests, etc.
• Strong passion for delivering a great guest experience with every interaction
• Ability to interact with guests, team members and internal business partners with a friendly, empathetic, and professional style
• Proven, excellent communication, negotiation and decision-making skills
• Ability to use various information sources to answer questions, identify problems and appropriately resolve guest issues
• Ability to provide quality feedback in a productive manner
• Explanation of tasks as relate to quality, assignment knowledge and productivity
• Train by telling, showing, and doing
• Consistent production delivery
• Coaching and reinforcement
• Lead by example
• Demonstrated initiative to take action
• Previous experience utilizing Outlook preferred
