Collections Specialist

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Collections Specialist in Rapid City, SD. This is for a temp-to-hire opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. Responsibilities for this Collections Specialist job include:

 

- Handle a high volume of calls in credit/collections department

- Schedule payment arrangements

- Process estates and bankruptcies

- Transferring balances between accounts

- Use computer system to track, gather information, and/or troubleshoot issues

- Achieve productivity standards while maintaining high level of customer service

 

Qualifications:

 

- Must have 1-3 years in call center or customer service

- Candidate must be able to sit for majority of their shift

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Make good decisions and resolve issues in a clear, calm, and diplomatic matter

- Computer literate - Proficient with Email and Microsoft Word

- Able to work in a team environment

 

This is a Full-Time position working Monday through Friday regular business hours. Pay starts at $15 an hour.
