Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an exciting Commercial Business Advisor for the Oil & Gas Industry role in Spring, TX!!

Job Description


MAIN FUNCTIONS

Consults with organization to provide specific knowledge and expertise related to commercial or business environment. Serves as subject matter expert to develop, assess operations or current commercial strategy, guide client decisions and make recommendations.
Improve organizational effectiveness via commercial practice improvement initiatives.
Promote fit-for-purpose use of commercial practices, standards and tools.
Support prioritization of commercial opportunities or negotiations on behalf of the business.
Minimal work direction needed, must be highly skilled and knowledgeable on commercial or business subject matter expertise.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Commercial or business expertise related to subject.


Specific Job Requirements/Skills

Work on various commercial LNG marine projects, including associated support for LNG Sales & Purchase Agreements and LNG use as a marine fuel
Advise project teams on development of shipping solutions and frameworks in early project phases
Provide support as needed to Regional Offices and affiliates regarding marine commercial negotiations and contracting
Provide freight market intelligence to related functions (Global Marine Commercial, Global Marine Optimization, Planning & Business Support) as well as Business Unit commercial contacts
Propose and implement methods to improve business processes
