Adecco Direct Hire Team is working closely with a mid-size financial institute that is currently seeking qualified candidates with a strong background in commercial and business lending, motivational management experience, and top-notch sales and customer service experience.

Essential Responsibilities for the Commercial Lending Manager:

Oversee the day to day operations of the Commercial Lending Department.
Facilitate all commercial and business lending for new and existing customers, while promoting and cross-selling new company products and services.
Approve, reject and/or process new commercial or business loan applications while verifying applications for completeness and accuracy.
Conduct credit investigations and financial analysis of services provided to maximize profits and broaden services.
Determine the value of the customer’s business and keep them up to date on any loan status changes, approvals or denials.
Keep up to date with any changes within the legal, economic, and technology environment that affect banking and operational functions.
Hire, terminate, promote, transfer and provide performance reviews for new and existing staff members.
Motivate, coach and reason with current/new employees to hit weekly, quarterly and yearly goals
Establish, monitor, revamp, and maintain company policies and procedures.
Delegate responsibilities to other staff members as necessary
Daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly reporting.
Other duties assigned by management.

Requirements of the Commercial Lending Manager:

A four-year college degree from accredited college with a minimum of five years’ experience in a related field is REQUIRED
Proven track record of a successful business lending portfolio is REQUIRED
Ability to understand and follow detailed written and oral instructions
Ability to work with complex business owners and provide accurate guidance while helping them with loan decisions
Ability to come up with innovative ideas and collaborate with current team members to improve, evaluate and adjust current company processes, policies and efficiencies.
Ability to think outside the box and bring in new and fresh perspectives to the organization as well as the lending team
Knowledge of the financial industry and the operation and delivery of commercial and business lending and financial services.
Ability to analyze statistics and financial data
Ability to research, prepare and maintain confidential customer information.
