Communication Manager

The Communication Manager is a key member of the organization's leadership team and works closely with technical leadership across the organization to drive an overarching communication strategy. 

Who You'll Work For? 
The Communications Manager position reports to the Senior Director for Supply Chain 3D IT. The Communication Manager will be responsible to lead all aspects of the communications strategy for 3DIT. 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Develop corporate-level, technology communications strategy including positioning and messaging, social media and executive communications. 
  • Responsible for creating consumable content that engages our stakeholders and business partners and drives 3DIT awareness. 
  • Partner with leadership team to develop compelling stories to amplify across all channels. 
  • Develop and drive holistic organizational communication strategy designed to increase employee engagement. 
  • Develop and drive overall communication plan in alignment with business priorities. 
  • Act as the lead for communications planning and coordination, driving a holistic internal/external communications plan in partnership with business and communications stakeholders. 
  • Develop and execute a communications strategy and plan representing all audiences: Executives, Leadership (Directors/Managers) and Individual Contributors considering global, function and region communication needs. 
  • Acts as an expert who advises on and develops processes for effective efficient, and measurable (future-state) communications delivery. 

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS/CS). MBA preferred in addition to 10+ years' experience driving C-level, and executive communications strategy and platform development and programs 
  • Strong Executive Communications expertise, both internal and external 
  • Quick learner who proactively owns the role 
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter 
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally 
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media 
  • Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
