Communications Project Lead – Alpharetta, GA
12 months (contract)
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Pay Rate: DOE

Specific Duties

This individual is responsible for proactively managing and coordinating projects that impact corporate business strategies and performance

The Communications Project Lead professional oversees all aspects of projects and is responsible for their coordination and completion

Identifies and documents critical tasks to mitigate risks (e.g., requirement issues, etc.)

Manages Interactive Communications deliverables to and from cross-functional teams and sponsors to secure sign-off and enable next steps in the project lifecycle

Adjusts project plans and timelines as needed to reflect approved changes

Documents and communicates status to overall project team to ensure understanding of resolutions

Negotiates feasible and timely solutions (e.g., recommendations, etc.) to accommodate project needs
Assesses incoming defects to determine validity

Evaluates risk level of defects to prioritize timing of resolutions

Assigns valid defects to appropriate resources to ensure defects are repaired

Monitors progress of defects to keep project stakeholders informed

Performs quality assurance based on project requirements

Must Have:

5 or more years of relevant large-scale internet development engagements in project management and business work experience required

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Communications, Journalism, or Business Communication major preferred

Candidate must possess well developed people skills, problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Office, including MS Project, is required

Experience with JIRA preferred
