Title: Communications Specialist
Pay: $34.00 Hourly
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Raleigh, NC

Overview of business area or project:
The Group Chief Technology Office (CTO) Chief of Staff team manages the office of Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for the communications and internal marketing of all units providing to our business partners a global, standardized information technology infrastructure and systems that are reliable, sustainable, financially optimized and secure.

In this role, the select candidate will join a cooperative, team-focused environment and have the opportunity to work on a diverse series of projects including business management, internal and external communications and have exposure to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
She/He will:
Partner with Group CTO COO and all members of the Group CTO Management Committee in support of the Group CTO strategy.

Proactively anticipate the Group CTO Chief Operations Office (COO), Chief of Staff Team and management team’s needs to provide them with executive management support. Ensure timeliness and quality of all business management activities
Execute the Group CTO communications strategy; drafting and coordinating Group CTO communications

Executive Management Support
Work on strategic presentations for senior management; effectively communicating the right granularity of detail for senior audiences
Support for Group CTO onsite/offsite preparation, town halls, human capital activities and other management support activities
Prepare presentations and/or talking points geared towards all employees


Implement the organization’s marketing communications activities and strategy
Maintain and increase internal social media and intranet presence
Manage communications process compliance; distribute departmental, regional and divisional communications while ensuring consistent messaging throughout
Create and develop new, alternative ways to communicate ideas for increased transparency across the organization
Creatively prepare informative visual presentations using PowerPoint

Overview of department/team:
The Chief of Staff team is committed to providing dedicated executive support, innovative communications solutions and bold human capital initiatives. We specialize in the planning and execution of communications deliverables in support of the Group CTO organizational strategy.

• Exceptional written and verbal English communications skills
• Creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas to answer work-related problems
• Proactive, independent thinker who can anticipate a need before it occurs
• This role has a high degree of exposure to senior management and requires the candidate to be able to think fast and work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and within deadlines
• Ability to develop trusted partnerships with all levels of the organization and collaborate across regional boundaries
• Being reliable, responsible and dependable when fulfilling obligations
• Convey professionalism at all times
• Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned
