Support new business sales efforts

Positions in this function:
• Identify and develop potential business opportunities and new targeted customers or groups
• Establish and cultivate strategic business relationships with key sales and market influencers, potential new customers, and related community institutions.
• Work closely with marketing team to conduct market events and to conduct market research

Skills required
• Has basic knowledge of community marketing practices and procedures
• Can respond to routine or standard requests.
• Can use existing procedures and facts to solve routine problems or conduct routine analyses.
• Will seek out other team members for instruction, guidance or direction.
• Has basic skills in Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Office

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in community marketing preferred

Must have the ability to drive and travel 75-90% of their day

Specific Duties:
1.Establish new external stakeholder relationships and maintain existing ones
2. Support the marketing team.
3.Create educational and marketing events within our targeted population
4.Identify opportunity and develop a Marketing strategy, in a diverse multi-cultural Senior citizen population, which is supportive to the Sales Agent's networking (territory)
5.Responsible for meeting or exceeding targeted growth, retention, and enrollment expectations within assigned territory

Must have qualifications/experience:
1.2+ years of Community Outreach field experience
2.1+ years of experience with Medicare and / or Medicaid
3.Have a current Health / Life Insurance License
4.Must have a dependable vehicle and current Driver’s License (potential to drive rental car for business travel)
5.Must be able to travel (less than 25% overnight travel and local travel) within territory and work evenings and weekends, when required
