Compliance Technician

Adecco is assisting a leading developer in biotechnology in its search for a full-time Compliance Technician to join it’s team at the University of Minnesota. This position offers unlimited growth potential for the right individual. Expert communication skills, including accomplished written, verbal and presentation skills are a must. Candidates should have general familiarity with item data management and data mining. This position will act as both a facilitator and liaison and play a key role in handling compliance requests as they relate to raw materials and components used in a manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision from the Quality Manager and Regulatory Technician, this position
  • Coordinate, track, monitor, audit, report, and facilitate some compliance filing such as, but not limited to, RoHS and FDA.
  • Communicate with the Quality Team, Suppliers, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure compliance.
  • Master knowledge of products, bill of materials, components, and raw materials
  • Uphold high ethical standards to support a professional business code of conduct

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of regulatory or compliance experience that includes data analysis and reporting OR a minimum of three years of relevant work experience that includes project management.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, & Word)
  • ERP system experience preferred
  • Familiarity with RoHS regulatory requirements
  • Must possess interpersonal (written and verbal) and research skills

Role: Contract

Pay: $16/hr

Start: ASAP

Shift: M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm
