Construction Administrative Assistant

This is for our Honolulu Office

Summary Description:

Provide clerical, administrative and project management support to the Vice President of Operations. Coordinates, oversees, and performs a wide variety of administrative, clerical and project support activities.

Essential Functions:

Perform general clerical duties, including (but not limited to) photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, etc.
Maintain organized office environment
Create, modify, and update documents using Microsoft Office Suite
Update and maintain network filing system, including archiving
Support change orders and change order budgets
Assist in the accurate submission and tracking of project invoices
Assist Superintendents with the implementation of job site safety procedures, notifications, signage, supplies, and equipment
Assist Project Managers and Division Managers as needed
Additional responsibilities to be assigned as needed.

Knowledge of Software Required
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED. Two (2) years of administrative experience. Construction background highly desirable.

Skills and Abilities
Well-organized with strong analytical and reasoning abilities. Excellent attention to detail . Ability to prioritize work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work cooperatively and maintain a positive and professional manner. Ability to work and adapt in a fast paced construction team environment. Must maintain strict confidentiality in performance of all duties.
