Adecco Search is actively recruiting for a CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER for our client, a growing national Construction Company based in Rochester, New York. The Construction Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the quality, safety and cost of all construction projects. You will also be Responsible for the coordination of manpower and equipment through working with the Operations Manager. The Construction Project Manager will have direct management of superintendents, senior foremen and foremen. In addition, the Construction Project Manager will assist and/or direct them with solving specific project-related problems. The Project Manager will be accountable for overall project profitability. The Construction Project Manager's Job Duties will include the following:


•Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, administrative staff, etc.
•Assist and participate in project kick off – hand off meeting with Estimating in order to have full understanding of the project and how it needs to be completed on schedule and in budget
.•Visit projects to observe contract compliance, progress, quality and safety on a monthly basis at a minimum.
•Assist and/or direct Superintendents, Senior Foremen and Foremen with problem solving on projects.
•Train and mentor Superintendents, Senior Foremen and Foremen.
•Ensure all company, client and project policies, procedures, standards, etc. Are adhered to. Interpret policies as required.
•Coordinate with operations manager manpower, equipment, tools, materials and resources between projects.
•Work with Safety Director and Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs.
•Prepare billings per contract schedule, including quantity confirmations and dispute resolution.•Review and assist in developing project schedules.
•Can perform responsibilities of the Superintendent.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, or 7-10 years of Construction Project Management experience.
Strong Microsoft experience.
Experience with Construction Management software.
7-10 years of supervisory experience
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
