CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR


This position administers contracts and manages bid submittals for government and commercial contracts within the Business Operations Department, supporting Sales

Contract specialist/manager; Business Development; Bid Coordination
Submits bids and proposals; maintains and organizes legal and contractual files; drafts customer correspondence
Organization, prioritization are key; must be able to assign tasks and follow up to ensure deadlines are met; reading, signing, assigning, coordination of proposal activities between departments and preparing summaries and other documents as needed




Skills: Word, Outlook and Excel are key; organizational skills, remain calm and confident even under pressure to meet deadlines; attention to detail for accuracy; business acumen/ability to write bid responses; typing ability
Travel is minimal, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel is expected about 4-6 times per year; trade shows and customer meetings
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s, MBA or paralegal preferred
