Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an exciting Contract, Contracts Administrator role in San Jose, CA! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Duration: 3 months

This individual will be a key person in our Legal Ariba system to manage the contract routing process. This person will be in charge of abstracting meta data from contract to Ariba system, ensuring approvals are correct and sending the contract for signature via DocuSign and much more. This person will do detailed daily work in the Ariba system and will need to become very familiar with the Ariba system and be able to support a variety of legal teams, answer questions and train new users. They may also do contract search and run reports in Ariba.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
•Answer questions about the process for getting different types of documents signed and submitting requests for legal review to the legal team.
•Educate our business partners about legal department resources and processes.
•Process contracts and other documents for signature following company policies and procedures, and archive such signed documents/contracts.
•Assist in the management of related workflows.
•Respond to requests for copies of signed documents and respond to requests in connection with audits.

Job Requirements:
2-3 years of experience

•Proven experience working in a legal department or similar highly complex and tedious job in an extremely fast-paced and pressured environment.
•Extensive knowledge using a variety of corporate systems (e.g., SharePoint and Ariba) quickly.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•Team player who will work overtime during busy periods, and is mindful that the last months of the year are usually the busiest for our legal department.

Basic Qualifications:
•Natural tendency to pay extreme attention to detail, even during periods of high-pressure.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Fluent in English. Other languages a plus, especially German and French.
• Associates degree or equivalent.

Additional information:
•The work week is generally 40 hours per week, but must be available to work overtime as needed, especially during the end-of-quarter or year-end period.
