    Responsibilities for this Contracts Manager I job include, but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing, negotiating, contracting and procuring of services, goods, and materials at competitive prices and advising upper-level staff members on which suppliers to contract with
  • Develop relationships and partner with relevant departments to understand goals and challenges, generate value and enable business partners to manage their budgets effectively
  • Work with business partners to: identify, review, negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. This includes assisting in negotiating and authoring of contract terms, dates and payments of contracts with service vendors and suppliers
  • Research and evaluate suppliers, based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history
  • Maintain, evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes. Provide supporting documentation (contracts, engagement attachments, order forms to broader Global Sourcing and Procurement staff to help facilitate the process
  • Reconcile and audit work in progress spreadsheets, ensuring accurate reporting. Support and facilitate RFX’s and supplier rationalization. Execute other initiatives as required and assigned by Leader
  • Purchase Order Governance and Administration
  • Qualifications for this Contracts Manager I job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in sourcing processes and thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Sound time-management and organizational skills
