Job summary:
Manage the workflow of preparing contracts, agreements and other legal documents on behalf of the business. This process includes receiving the request, determining appropriate parties to involve, gathering information, coordinating with other functional and operational business units, communicating with client’s legal representatives, and finalizing documents through final execution. Advises management of contract obligations, deficiencies commitments and performance and tracks for contract renewal notice dates. This is a high-volume environment with 80-100 legal documents in the queue at any given time.

• Acts in a leadership role for less experienced team members. Serves as escalation point for area(s) of expertise in the department. May lead projects and/or other team members.

• Revise documents to conform to CoreLogic requirements, liaising with company attorneys on more complex drafting. Recommend and draft contract language to review. Negotiate contracts with third parties, under supervision of company attorneys. Escalates complex issues and procedural violations to management as needed.

• Establish and maintain relationships within the business lines, internal legal divisions and client relations to effectively understand needs, capabilities, and to effectively and efficiently complete document requests. Provides strong partnership with the various business lines while representing the interest of CoreLogic.

Organize, maintain and electronically track all contracts and related documents; maintain fully executed agreements in systems of record. Also, ensure proper process for tracking renewal notice dates. Prepare and distribute reports and statistical data to facilitate planning and maintenance of accurate contract records and files.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• 5-8 years of contract management experience or other related experience with high volume contracting in a corporate environment

• Knowledge of standard contracting administration procedures, concepts, principles and methods

• Additional theoretical/academic preparation in contract law is highly desirable

• Collaborative style; ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.

• Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively and proactively communicate with a team, stakeholders and internal clients

• Highly accurate with strong attention to detail; high degree of quality orientation; maintains internal and external data integrity, security and confidentiality.

• Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to deliver solid and consistent results and bring assignments to successful completion. Strong organization and prioritization skills

• Strong technical aptitude; proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills

• Sound judgment with the ability to learn, recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities

Solid analytical skills; strong decision making capabilities coupled with the ability to analyze situations and provide recommendations
