Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

Job Description: USGAAP CECL (Current Expected Credit Loss) Implementation

Primary objective of the role is to assist with US GAAP CECL implementation for the bank which is slated to go live on January 1st 2020. The role will focus on the impact to the CRM department. Main duties will include but not be limited to:

1. Attend Impairment meetings
2. Review of minutes and any associated meeting materials
3. Attend EUC tool design sessions for reporting, commentary and adjustments/refinements
4. Legal entity data analysis
5. Business segment data analysis
6. Policies, procedures & guidelines meetings and reviews
7. BAU task duration estimations
8. End to end Test case preparation
9. UAT test involvement.
10. Parallel run involvement
11. Specific impairment considerations
12. IFRS9 month end close review
13. IFRS9 quarterly meetings material production

Role is anticipated to last until the end of the 2019 calendar year. The candidate may also be required to perform some ad-hoc non-CECL/IFRS9 impairment reporting work as required. The candidate should ideally have some level of familiarity with CECL and/or IFRS9. If that skillset is not available then preferably the candidate should have an accounting background with experience of project management with an emphasis on user acceptance testing for project implementation. Intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
