Adecco Direct Placement Team is currently recruiting for a qualified, Controls Engineer Job in Missoula, MT. The Controls Engineer will be in charge of designing, identifying and creating specifications for electronic equipment controls for a growing company.
Our client is seeking candidates with experience in industrial power systems including transformers, power controllers and distribution equipment, as well as an in-depth knowledge of PLC hardware and software platforms
This position offers a competitive salary of $70-$100K per year plus a generous benefits package and annual bonus potential. Relocation assistance is provided as well. Responsibilities for the Controls Engineer Job in Missoula, MT include:


Supervision of manufacturing installation and commissioning equipment
Designing and implementing electronic controls systems, including programming PLC’s and HMI’s
Locating and working with a variety of different vendors and clients
Read and interpret schematics, specifications for electrical equipment controls
Apply electrical engineering principals to troubleshoot equipment
Research and define new technology and development tools to stay current with cutting edge technologies
Preparing reports for management
Stay on track with milestones and deadlines
Other duties as assigned by management


Requirements:

3+ years of industrial, electrical or related engineering experience
B.S.E.E. or P.E. highly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Software preferred but other degrees can be considered)
Proven experience with industrial power systems including transformers, power controllers and distribution equipment
Proven experience with instrumentation and control systems
Proven knowledge of electrical theories, design principles and evaluation techniques
Experience and understanding of PLC hardware and software platforms. HMI Programming is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
The ability to present information to peers, customers, vendors and members of the management team
Ability to meet deadlines and stay on budget
