Adecco is currently assisting a local client, the World’s Largest Search Engine, in their search to find a Coordinator II. This is part of an exciting fast-growing project within the Search Engine. This is a temporary assignment slated for 12 months and will sit in New York, NY.

**This role must sit onsite and will not be open to remote candidates.

Project Description:

The intern program serves to build a strong, diverse pipeline of student talent leading to full time graduate hires. We aim to be the number one internship program globally for identifying, engaging, developing and recruiting the world’s best entry level talent. The Intern Programs team is experiencing tremendous momentum as we plan and execute innovative programs that develop talented students at unprecedented scale.

As a Coordinator for the Intern Programs team your role will be twofold; providing support to our team’s Staffing Partners in various, client-serving aspects of project approval and intern placement, matching candidate profiles against available projects, and also supporting the Program Specialists by fostering new ideas and supporting the development of our programs, while ensuring a world class intern and host experiences.

In this role you will interact with recruiters, hiring managers, program specialists, potential candidates/applicants, external vendors, internal coordination and logistics teams. The Intern Programs Coordinator will contribute to the overall success of the Staffing Partner and Programs groups by providing a high level of customer service, coordination, event planning and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage logistics for various intern programs events (project showcases, social events, etc.)
  • Support intern program launches and programmatic efforts by proving planning and execution assistance
  • Develop recommendations for improvement and drive new initiatives or program iterations
  • Day to day program coordination and support to ensure hosts and interns are set up for success with their intern program experience
  • Support a team of 2-3 program specialists to execute daily activities.
  • Work in a project management system to update project profiles, request additional information as needed, and assist with project tracking.
  • Work in an applicant database to drive the allocation of technical interns to projects."

Requirement:

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
  • 1-3 years HR coordination and/or customer service or event planning work experience.
  • Passion for working with students and supporting initiatives geared towards building a more representative workforce.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple groups, including remote teams, and build strong personal networks across a complex, fast moving organization.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and succeed in an environment with competing demands.

Desired:

  • Experience working with GSuite products (docs, drive, sheets, calendar etc.)
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
  • Passion for improving the customer experience with customers broadly defined as candidates, new hires, hiring managers, program specialists, and recruiters
  • Proven experience planning and managing large scale events
