As a Project Coordinator, you’ll help run operations for a program that aims to surface and support organizations doing innovative social impact work in select US cities. Working with cross-functional teams, you will be a driving force behind the program - managing the creative execution, assisting with creative direction, keeping teams in sync and doing whatever is needed to make sure the program is executed successfully. If you’re a successful applicant, you’ll have the project coordination skills to run a successful program in your sleep, the ability to move quickly and get things done, experience running public-facing events, and a passion for social impact and technology. You’re an exceptionally effective and proactive communicator with a proven ability to work with colleagues virtually, including via e-mail and video conference.

Overall Responsibilities: Manage all systems and processes and work closely with the cross-functional team to make the program run smoothly Develop creative and scrappy solutions to problems that deliver on goals in an environment rich with ambiguity Use marketing skills and background to manage the execution of a streamlined, multi-phase campaign in numerous cities at once Quickly learn a specialized system and facilitate the review and selection of applications to identify top organizations, including substantial manual support for these efforts Lead in-person events for dignitaries, press, and nonprofits, including strategy, preparation and day-of execution Compile notes from team discussions and follow-up to make sure key items are accomplished on schedule Gather and analyze data expeditiously; synthesize answers, create presentations and develop project plans

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day execution of a program, operating in multiple cities at once, in close coordination with colleagues across the country - Learn and adapt quickly to fill in gaps so that the program is successful - Tasks to keep the team running: developing meeting agendas and project plans, circulating notes, etc. Additional responsibilities: - Work closely with a cohort of nonprofits, helping to deliver customized communication and follow-up - Lead planning and execution of large outreach events, including building contact lists, managing invitations, and facilitating trainings for large audiences of nonprofits - Support project needs as they arise - Lead analysis and documentation of program efficacy including what worked well, what didn’t, and suggestions for improvement

- BA/BS degree, no specific field required - 2+ years of work experience at a leading marketing firm, strategy consulting firm, philanthropic organization, or social business venture in a project coordination capacity - Demonstrated success in project coordination or operations involving fast-moving timelines, complex logistics, many simultaneously moving parts, and coordination across time zones - Adaptable, flexible, capable of working both independently and in teams, with a demonstrated ability to build expertise quickly in new areas and projects - Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, impeccable business judgment - Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to work with remote teams - Experience in leading cross-functional work (e.g. coordinating Finance, Legal, Communications) - Proficient with G Suite, including Google Docs and Gmail
