Copy Editor Writer

Cloud Collaboration Group is investing its Customer Success organization to grow our market share for SaaS based Collaboration business globally, through investing in digital customer experiences. As a member of the Digital Experience team, the copywriter will be responsible for helping the team building engaging messaging that spans every touchpoint in the customer lifecycle.  We have a dynamic team that brings together a mix of backgrounds and disciplines to deliver innovative, adaptive experience for customers to drive adoption and learning.  This team has quickly grown in size and scope and has provided countless opportunities to be creative and bring new ideas to life.  This means we go beyond traditional email-based customer engagement to omni-channel digital lifecycle motions and campaigns with rich content spanning email, social, in-product, and web channels.   

Create understanding and adoption through engaging, pithy copy that adapts to a given audience based on persona, segmentation, and vertical/industry 
Work collaboratively with Marketing Coordinator, Digital Experience Manager and Customer Mapping specialist to develop and execute key concepts and copy direction for key initiatives 
Translate our brand & voice strategy as well as project creative briefs into compelling, engaging copy with consistency 
Work closely with designers to ensure copy and visual design work together 
Works as thought-leader and brand storyteller, bringing refreshing ideas for projects of all sizes 
Utilize talents with core focus on writing and content creation for digital, social and web content 
Maintain current knowledge of marketing strategies and trends 
Proofreads, reviews and edits materials for spelling, sentence structure 
Keeps commitments by delivering exceptional work on-time ensuring all requirements and stakeholder changes/edits have been made 
Exercise high level of creativity and understanding of marketing content strategies 
Collaborate with other creative functions (and processes), across departments/stakeholders 
Maintain a positive attitude and performance when faced with changing priorities and variables 

Minimum Requirements 
3–7 years of professional copywriting experience (agency experience a plus) 
Strong writing and editing experience, particularly for digital, print and video 
Exceptional attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills 
Clear understanding of tone and ability to adapt writing style based on message and audience 
Outstanding writing and communication skills 
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while  able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines 
Keen team player and self sufficient multi-tasker – full of original approaches and innovative ideas 
Accountability and self-motivation 
Excellent persuasive writing skills 
Bachelor’s degree in writing or marketing or related field of study 
Provide portfolio of past work related to this type of job description 

Desired Skills 
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign in particular); familiarity with Basecamp or other similar web-based project management programs a plus 
Energetic and self-motivated, with the desire and ability to collaborate with other internal departments to boost messaging impact 
Organized and detail-oriented, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects 
Significant proofreading & writing experience for marketing or customer-oriented disciplines
