Cost Accounting Manager


Adecco is assisting local client recruiting for HR Generalist job in Everett, WA. The HR Generalist job is a temporary to hired on with our client in future. The HR Generalist will be providing support to managers for a wide variety of business initiatives including but not limited to employee relations, recruiting, compensation and organizational development. This person must be ready to wear a series of different hats as the need arises, committed to owning problem solving from identification to resolution, and capable of working in a fastpaced organization. 


The cost accounting manager oversees the cost accounting department including daily, monthly and quarterly inventory accounting reporting, supervising updates to costing, and monitoring compliance with inventory policies.



  • Manage direct staff including scheduling, planning, assigning, and directing work; identifying and resolving problems.
  • Direct accurate and timely updates for inventory costing and transfer pricing at all business units.
  • Analyze historical cost data (materials, labor, operating expenses, etc.), to compare budgeted with actual cost and calculate standard rates.
  • Partner with operations to investigate and resolve changes in margin.
  • Oversee the physical inventory program including monitoring and reporting the results of cycle and full counts.
  • Approve reserves for excess and obsolete inventory, warranty, stock rotation, and returns.
  • Direct and coordinate timely and accurate monthly close for cost accounting department in accordance with US GAAP and Fluke/Fortive accounting policies
  • Other

  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Oracle Experience preferred
  • Excel/Access advanced skills preferred
  • Project Management experiecne required 2-10 years
